CCC's Drama Club -- Troupe 4763 -- had an incredible showing at the Thespian District Competition this past weekend, with two perfect scores, 15 Superior ratings, 13 Excellent ratings, five Honorable mentions, four scholarship winners, and one Critic's Choice!

The honors don't stop there!
Troupe 4763's One-Act entry, "Bad Breath", was the first place act and will be headed to the State competition in the Spring! The Central Stage also received the Best Ensemble Cast Award.
Senior Christine Buete was named to the District All-Star Cast, and junior Christopher Sodano received Best Supporting Actor of the weekend. Christine also received Critic's Choice in the Solo Musical category, getting to perform on stage with the song "Me and the Sky" from the musical "Come From Away." Honorable mention recipients included Joseph Accetta [monologue], Alex Schell & Angelina Ossa [duet singing], Talia Spataro [marketing], Natalie Russell & Grace Robbins [duet musical], and Joseph Accetta et. alt. [student-directed scene].
Lastly, and certainly worth noting, was the scholarship portion of the competition. Our District has five total scholarships they bestow upon graduating seniors every Fall. CCC students received FOUR of them! Huge congratulations to Joseph Accetta, Abby Bacci, Christine Buete, and Alex Schell for their scholarships.
