International Students
If you are an international student or parent interested in learning more about academic excellence at Clearwater Central Catholic High School, please contact Mrs. Tara Shea McLaughlin at [email protected]. You may also go to our application page to complete an application for admission. Along with the admission application, we also require international students to demonstrate English proficiency by providing results of TOEFL testing, and provide evaluated transcripts.
Transcripts from any country other than the United States MUST be evaluated by a certified international evaluation agency. For a list of agencies, please visit the National Association of Credentials Evaluation Services (NACES) website.
NOTE: All international students must have all immunization records and a copy of the most recent physical prior to formal enrollment
International Student Check List
PRIOR TO ACCEPTANCE students must submit:
- Application
- Transcripts
- Association of Credentials Evaluation Services (NACES) — Transcripts issued in a foreign language must be reviewed by a certified evaluation agency. For a list of agencies, please visit http://naces.org/members.
- Score of at least 52 on the TOEFL test
AFTER STUDENTS ARE ACCEPTED, they are provided with the following materials:
- Health Forms (immunization records and a recent physical)
- Uniform information
- Course schedule
- Sports information
- Extracurricular information
If an international student will be participating in sports while at CCC, a waiver form must be completed prior to the first team practice. CLICK THE LINK to download the form.
We Recognize the Needs of International Students
Coming to a high school in a foreign country can be a daunting experience for any teenager. To ease the transition, CCC provides several programs designed especially for international students. During the school year, CCC offers ESL (English as a Second Language) which includes skills development.
We also provide opportunities for international students to better make a smooth transition to our high school through our NiHao International Program. This club provides social opportunities and activities outside of the classroom.
